just heard on WCBS Marvel Scott was arrested by NYPD for the rape of a 14 yo prostitute.

Can't find it online yet but CBS 2 News just reported that former ABC 7 sports anchor Marvell Scott surrendered this morning to police... He's accused of raping a 14-year-old prostitute in his apartment.

ABC 7 ran a package about it in the A block of the 5:00 today. I missed most of it... I'd like to hear if they explain why he left the station last spring.

Shocking indeed. His abrupt departure from WABC was perplexing. To Geoffrey's point, how much did WABC know?

In WCBS' report, I like how Lou Young was all up in Marvel's face with the questioning. LOL
