That is so f**ked up! They knowing how screwed up the economy is and have kept these people through the worst portion of this recession and still laying them off. Disney's upper management needs all of their a**es kicked.

I wonder if will ABC will keep World News Now after the bloodbath. Won't be surprised if they don't, WNN lost its mojo a few years ago from what I've heard of it recently.

I can say that ABC News in general is a bit overstaffed and has been for years.. They got alot more people than what is actually needed for their news operation. There's just alot of unnecessary people on their payroll.. Also people that have been there for years that should really not be there anymore but are still there..

What they are cutting is really not much more than what each of the other networks have cut in the past few years. The other networks just cut little by little at a time. ABC hasn't really made any "big" cuts and now, they just gotta trim the extra fat hanging around their newsrooms.
